About Lisa Drew
Lisa Drew is a Minneapolis-based digital photography artist whose work lives where realism meets reverie. She begins with the camera—often drawn to landscape, nature, and architectural forms—and then builds a second layer of meaning through digital painting techniques that heighten mood, light, and atmosphere without losing the truth of the original scene.
Her images lean into stillness, weather, and quiet drama: the way a sky can feel like a cathedral, or how a simple structure can become sculptural when the light hits just right. Whether photographing wide-open landscapes or intimate natural details, Lisa’s goal is the same—to create work that feels like a place you’ve been, even if you haven’t.
Lisa’s work has been exhibited in juried shows including the Minneapolis Convention Center and the Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Exhibit, with additional regional and online exhibitions. She has received recognition including People’s Choice at the Hallberg Center for the Arts and Honorable Mention at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.
Alongside her visual art practice, Lisa is also a long-time professional classical singer and church soloist—an influence that quietly shapes her sense of timing, tone, and emotional pacing in imagery.
Her work is collected as fine art prints and is available through this website.
Artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Modern interiors deserve artwork with presence—quiet, intentional, and built around form and light. I create photographic artwork, some with a painterly finish, often inspired by architecture, landscape, and the natural world.
